Sean is a consultant with BDLINK’s sister company, HR INC.
After completing his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at the University of Melbourne, Australia, Sean began his career in 1994 as an Economist with the Industry Commission (which advises the Australian Government on economic and social policy). Sean participated in a review of workplace health and safety arrangements in Australia. He then worked as a Senior Policy Officer with the National Competition Council, providing advice to the Australian Government on reforms to the gas and electricity sectors.
Sean also worked in London for two years as a financial journalist for an investment magazine. He wrote articles covering a variety of sectors, including electricity, oil, healthcare and biotechnology.
Moving back to Australia, Sean used his financial and communication skills as Head of Product Management for Portfolio Partners, a large investment company. He was responsible for developing new investment funds and promoting the company’s existing product range. He also managed all the company’s internal and external communications and was part of the senior management team.
Sean next worked as a Senior Project Officer in the Department of Justice in Victoria, Australia. He advised the Justice Minister on the laws for gambling on sporting events, which resulted in new laws being passed by the Victorian Parliament in 2007.
Sean joined BDLINK’s sister company, HR INC, in December 2007. He advises, supports and works closely with the BDLINK team on a daily basis. He is currently advising on a number of BDLINK projects.
Sean brings to the team extensive experience in project management, analysis and report writing across a diverse range of sectors.
Sean speaks English and is currently learning Khmer. |
